“Cvetnoetno”, the collection of ethno furniture designed by Špela Leskovic and Almira Sadar, will be exhibited in the display window of the bookstore Modrijan, Trubarjeva 27, Ljubljana in October and November 2011.

“Prettypretty”, a bar stool designed by designer Dejana Kabiljo, will be exhibited until 16 November 2011 at the Almirasadar shop, Tavčarjeva 6, Ljubljana.
Dejana Kabiljo is an architect–designer from Vienna who explores everyday behavior and our little fetishes, which are ironically transformed into modern innovations. Her bar stool Prettypretty was chosen by Phillipp Starck for the interior design of the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

The project “Embroidered Cushion” will be displayed on 13 and 14 October 2011 at the Month of Design – the Design Expo, Slovenijales, K2, Ljubljana. All the embroideries of the participants who cooperated in the project will be exhibited.

We would like to invite you to the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum where “Cvetnoetno”, the collection of ethno furniture designed by Almira Sadar and Špela Leskovic and produced in cooperation with the furniture company Mizarstvo Černe, will be on display from 1 June 2011 to the end of September 2011.
Ethno furniture connects contemporary design with Slovene cultural heritage and traditional knowledge of working with wood and textile.

Almira Sadar has designed a collection of lamps with embroidered shades for the new Golf Club Smlednik. The laser cut aluminum base resembling a perforated fabric serves as a blank canvas for traditional cross-stitch embroidery.
The interior architecture was designed by Aksl Arhitekti (www.aksl.org).

Almira Sadar and Nena Gabrovec have designed a collection of tablecloths for the Museum of Modern Arts Café within the At Home exhibition, which is on display at the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana until 16 May 2010.
A drawing of a place setting from 1962 has been symbolically transferred to the tablecloths by the screen printing technique. The drawing of the place setting has become a part of the scoring pattern on the tablecloth and the same element is repeated in different colors. As many unique tablecloths were designed as there are tables in the Café.The covered tables will go on display on 13 April 2010 in the Museum of Modern Arts Café.

Almira Sadar and Arijana Gadžijev have designed the official collection of clothing to represent Slovenia at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. As the leading theme of the pavilion is "open book", clothes are also designed with an added three-dimensional detail resulting from the opening and closing of books.
